A practical checklist for importers comparing Turkish kiwifruit suppliers, from origin and sizing to packing, documents and logistics.
Verify origin before marketing claims
Ask where the fruit is grown, whether the seller is the grower, packer or trader, and how lot identity is maintained.
Turn “quality” into measurable criteria
Define size or weight range, defect tolerance, firmness / ripeness expectation, pack format and arrival condition.
Ask for shipment-specific documentation
Certifications, phytosanitary documents and destination requirements should be verified for the actual producer, lot and shipment.
Quote logistics clearly
A price without destination, Incoterm and delivery window is not yet a useful export comparison.
